The annual Christchurch Santa Parade drew a crowd of thousands in Riccarton this afternoon.
Emergency services who provided assistance during the February earthquake took part in the 65th anniversary parade.
There were 125 entries, including 80 different floats, which travelled the 2km route.
One particular float had a slippery start to the parade, with the Bananas in Pyjamas falling down in a nose-to-tail accident. Luckily, B1 and B2 continued in the parade unharmed.
