Kid Rock has moved to distance himself from a messy legal battle involving hip-hop stars Insane Clown Posse by publishing the expletive-laden letters he sent to the attorneys involved.
The rocker has been dragged into a lawsuit which has been filed against Insane Clown Posse and their record label employees by a former publicist named Andrea Pellegrini who claims she was sexually harassed.
He was subpoenaed to give evidence after Dan Diamond, a worker at the Psychopathic Records offices in Michigan, testified he gave a glass sex toy to the star after the gift was rebuffed by Pellegrini. Kid Rock was also ordered to produce the item for the court.
The 'All Summer Long' hitmaker has now insisted he knows nothing about the gift, and has published letters he sent to the lawyers involved in the case on his website under the heading "All Parties Involved in This ICP Glass Dildo Case Can Shove One Up Their Ass".
In one of the letters, Rock writes, "I'm told that you have issued a subpoena for a 'glass dildo' that was supposedly given to me. No idea what you're talking about, and I definitely don't have it. I've never heard of, seen, or met any people involved in this case. But I'm pretty sure you already know that."
He adds in the other note, "I'd certainly remember if he tried to give me a glass f**king dildo... It is obvious that all you assholes are using my name and notoriety to garner publicity for yourselves, which makes you the worst kind of scum. You're the types of lawyers that make America a worse place for everyone."
Pellegrini is suing for harassment and wrongful termination after she was reportedly fired for relaying the disrespectful acts to label bosses in November, 2012, after three years with the firm.
