Neil Diamond's next album is sure to be full of love - because he'll be writing the tracks on his honeymoon.
The singer has been too busy to take time off since he wed Katie McNeil in April and he has been promising her a break ever since she became his wife.
Diamond tells the Los Angeles Times, "I kind of think this (next) album will be written on the run. I got married recently and I owe my wife a honeymoon.
"She's OK with me writing on my honeymoon, so I told her we'll just put on our travelling clothes, pack a very small bag and go somewhere."
Diamond was honoured in Hollywood on Friday when he unveiled his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He is also in the midst of celebrating the 40th anniversary of his hit live album Hot August Night with an unprecedented five sold out shows at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, where the original album was recorded.
