Actor John Stamos and his Full House castmates have confirmed reports the beloved US sitcom is heading back to TV.
It was recently revealed that show creator Jeff Franklin was close to securing a deal for a 13-episode run, which would feature original series stars Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber, Jodie Sweetin and Stamos, who would also serve as producer.
An agreement has since been made and now the actor appeared on US TV to make the big Netflix announcement.
Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he said, "It's a labour of love and we've been literally trying for so many years to do it right and I think we've finally got it perfect."
However, co-star Lori Loughlin tells US news show Access Hollywood Live she and castmates Bob Saget and Dave Coulier are still in negotiations to return, revealing, "They made deals with half the cast but not the other half... We're all in negotiations. I think we would all like to come back if the powers that be are fair to all of us... They're trying... It's up to them."
Full House, which ran for eight seasons before wrapping up in 1995, also launched the careers of child stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Loughlin admits she's not sure if the twins will be part of the new show, titled Fuller House.
She says, "I honestly don't know if they wanna do it... I'm sure they're (producers) talking to them."
