The Real Housewives of Auckland have copped some flak for being not, well, real enough.
Love it or otherwise, the show calls on the usual reality TV tricks: A touch of dramatic music, some wobbly camerawork and a bit of sparkle, and you turn a girlie chat into must-watch television.
But what if you take that glam and add it to some real housewives somewhere else in the country - say, Christchurch?
