The Bachelor NZ’s Jordan Mauger has spoken about why he dumped Fleur just two days after she was revealed the winner of the second season.
“Fleur is a remarkable woman,” Jordan says in a statement released to Newshub. “What I have struggled with is interpreting my feelings from the show to the real world.”
He says the pair have shared “concerns and doubts” over the past seven weeks.
“After a long absence and only seeing her for the first time onstage, I knew something was a miss [sic].”
Fleur spoke to Story shortly after Jordan broke the news, and was unsurprisingly upset; however she said she doesn’t have any bad feelings towards the 32-year-old.
"Jordan came to visit me and he's pretty much kind of explained how he's been feeling and that he's decided that his feelings aren't mutual unfortunately," Fleur told Story.
"We've decided that... well, he's decided that he wants to leave it here and go our separate ways."
