Australian cricketing legend Shane Warne has made a surprise appearance onstage as Coldplay continued their A Head Full of Dreams tour in Melbourne.
The 47-year-old did his best to play along with the band on the harmonica as they performed their 2000 single 'Don't Panic' - and he was surprisingly proficient.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Warne thanked his "good friends" from Coldplay for inviting him up on stage with them.
"I'm very grateful for that amazing experience & was truely an honour to join you [sic]," he wrote.
"Also, a huge thankyou to the crowd for being so nice & cheering me when I played the harmonica (badly), you were all very very kind & awesome!"
The moment happened just a night after a fan proposed in front of thousands of people at the same venue, Melbourne's Etihad Stadium.
At the Coldplay show in Auckland a week ago, Crowded House founder Neil Finn made a guest appearance to play 'Four Seasons in One Day'.
