Although she seemed to brush off her disastrous New Year's Eve performance with a comical tweet, Mariah Carey is said to be furious about it.
The 'Hero' hitmaker is reportedly launching a "full investigation" into what caused the technical glitches that made her botch her lip-synching.
"Mariah is fuming and has been left very upset for the past couple of days. She won't let this go and believes somebody tried to sabotage her," a source told UK tabloid The Sun.
"She is launching her own investigation into the incident."
Carey's representatives also alleged her performance was intentionally sabotaged by Dick Clark Productions, who organised the event, reported TMZ.
The gossip website contacted the company, which rubbished the claims as "silly", adding that the singer "changed her story" over the unfortunate appearance.
