While debuting her new single 'Green Light', the 20-year-old began dancing with her trademark rigorous arm movements.
One person on Twitter compared Lorde's dancing to a meme.
Someone who was a fan was pal Taylor Swift, who said on social media, "g2g brb just gonna make up an interpretive dance to this magnificent bop for the ages".
Lorde's first single from her new album, 'Green Light', has already had more than 22 million views on YouTube.
