The hit reality show and social experiment where strangers get married the second they meet is coming to New Zealand shores.
Mediaworks is producing a local version of Married at First Sight and is looking for single Kiwis to take part.
The show is set to air between October and December this year.
It'll follow the recognised format and feature single Kiwis looking for love who will wed the person who they meet at the altar.
The show will also follow the newlyweds on their honeymoon, meeting the in-laws and settling down - all while they're still learning about each other.
In lifting the veil on the new production, Mediaworks chief content officer Andrew Szusterman says the company prides itself on bringing the best locally produced television to Kiwis.
"Married at First Sight is the show that has been on everyone's lips for 2017 and we are really excited to be producing New Zealand's first serious of this hit show," he says.
Three has been playing the Australian version of the series which has the channel's highest-rating international programme of the year.
Popular couple Sharon Marsh and Nicky Furphy recently visited New Zealand for the first time.
Applications are open to New Zealand citizens and permanent residents who are over 25 from any background, ethnicity and sexual orientation.
