In movie theatres a long, long time away, Star Wars: Episode IX is getting released.
On Tuesday, The Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm announced the third and final installment in the franchise's third trilogy will hit cinemas on May 24, 2019 - although they didn't give an official title.
The film will be directed by Jurassic World's Colin Trevorrow, and Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Oscar Isaac are all expected to return.
Disney says that Carrie Fisher, who died late in 2016, will not appear in the film.
Disney and Lucasfilm have previously said they plan to release a new Star Wars film every year, indefinitely.
Disney unveiled the trailer for Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi earlier this month. The film will be released on December 15.
