A 12-year-old girl has blown away the judges of the new season of America's Got Talent, with a singing ventriloquist act.
Darci Lynn Farmer, who uses ventriloquism to overcome her shyness, was joined on stage by her rabbit puppet Petunia, Entertainment Tonight reported.
Darci, with Petunia's help, sang the classic song 'Summertime', and received a standing ovation from the judges.
Ex-Spice Girl and judge Mel B used her golden buzzer to send the budding star directly to the live shows.
"You make my heart melt. You were brilliant. I'm trying to describe how amazing it was. You know what?!" said the judge Mel B before hitting the Golden Buzzer, sending a cascade of confetti tumbling down.
Each judge has one Golden Buzzer per season, which allows a contestant to proceed to the next round regardless of the judges' votes.
