There's some pretty, pretty, pretty good news for Curb Your Enthusiasm fans - the show's ninth season will premiere on HBO in the US on October 1.
Season nine reunites most of the original cast around Larry David, including Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, Jeff Garlin, Cheryl Hines, JB Smoove and Susie Essman, along with Gilmore Girls actress Lauren Graham, who joins for a multi-episode arc.
David has said he wasn't very interested in making a new series - or at least, if he did, it wouldn't be very conclusive.
"I got so much grief from the Seinfeld finale, which a lot of people intensely disliked, that I no longer feel a need to wrap things up," David told Rolling Stone in 2014.
"I wouldn't say I'm mad about it, but it taught me a lesson that if I ever did another show, I wasn't gonna wrap it up."
The Golden Globe-winning comedy series has been off the air for five years. During its hiatus, David wrote and starred in the film Clear History, created Broadway play Fish in the Dark and impersonated Bernie Sanders on Saturday Night Live to much acclaim.
