Pop sensation Katy Perry is coming to New Zealand.
Katy Perry's WITNESS: The Tour is scheduled for July and August 2018, with promoters saying New Zealand is included in the tour dates.
The tour takes the title of her new album, the fifth the singer has released.
NME rates the album 4/ 5, saying there's no subtlety, but when you're delivering "important messages about female autonomy to a young audience, it's surely better to shout than whisper".
Pitchfork was less convinced, giving the album a 4.8 out of 10, with the reviewer complaining the lyrics are cliche and "cringe-worthy".
Despite mixed reviews, she's topped the charts in the US, Canada and Spain. It entered the charts at number two in New Zealand.
Katy Perry toured New Zealand in 2014, playing two sold out concerts in Auckland.
