One of the many trailers released during Comic-Con in the US over the weekend was that of the second season of Riverdale, with New Zealand star KJ Apa once again taking centre stage.
His character kicks the trailer off by dragging his blood-soaked father to the hospital as a voiceover announces it's the moment the "last bit of Riverdale's innocence finally died".
The video teases a darker second season of the hit teen drama, based on the Archie Comics.
It teases the possible identity of the ski mask shooter, Cheryl's scary shenanigans and the rocky fate of Jughead and Betty (Bughead).
At Comic-Con, a second video was also shown featuring bloopers and extra snippets.
Riverdale will return to the small screen in October.
