Hot on the heels of the news of a Joker origin movie described as a 'gritty crime drama', a separate, 'criminal love story' Joker movie has been revealed.

The new film is being developed by the filmmakers behind Crazy, Stupid, Love and will have Jared Leto and Margot Robbie reprise their roles as The Joker and Harley Quinn.
Both Joker films are in the works at Warner Bros, which has already released DC Extended Universe hits like Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The Hollywood Reporter broke the story about the new Joker movie, reporting that both Joker movies will be released after Suicide Squad 2 but are being fast-tracked "to contend with actors' holding agreements".
The Joker origin film, which was only announced yesterday, is reportedly being developed by Todd Phillips and Martin Scorsese.
Harley Quinn will also not only be featured in the second recently announced Joker movie and Suicide Squad 2, she'll also reportedly be the lead in yet another film that focuses on several of DC's female heroes and villains.
