The power couple posted touching messages on social media expressing their love for their eldest son Brooklyn, 18, as he heads off to his first year at university.
"We are all so proud of you Brooklyn," Victoria Beckham wrote.
"Amazing A level results and off to college. We love you so much and will miss you. #yesiamcrying #emotional x."
Brooklyn's high results in his final high school exams have seen him taking a place to study photography at Parsons in New York, a prestigious arts college.
David Beckham shared a snap on Saturday (local time) of the two of them in New York. The Daily Mail reported he accompanied his son to help him get settled in for his first days at college.
"Englishmen in New York," the football great captioned the post.
