Friday is the day Disney has chosen to reveal a brand new character in its Star Wars universe ahead of its debut in the highly anticipated new chapter The Last Jedi.
BB-9E is a First Order droid not unlike our favourite rolling robot BB-8 from The Force Awakens.
While the character arc of this new villainous droid of course remains under wraps, we can safely assume he is most likely to embrace the Dark Side, and far more inclined to hang with Kylo Ren than Rey and Finn.
Toy company Sphero, the masterminds behind the new BB-9E toy, describes the new ball-buster as a "rolling menace" and mega fans everywhere will be gagging to add this little guy to their personal collections.
Star Wars: Episode VII - The Last Jedi opens globally on December 14.
