Cardi B's hit 'Bodak Yellow' has hit number one on the US Billboard singles chart, making her the first female rapper to do so without any other credited artists since Lauryn Hill's '(Doo Wop) That Thing' in 1998.
The 24-year-old New Yorker dethroned Taylor Swift's hit 'Look What You Made Me Do' from the top spot - something that was clearly not lost on her.
"I'm very happy, I'm very honoured," Cardi B says in a video of a celebration at her record label, posted on TMZ.com.
"You know who your real friends is [sic] when you open a business, well I experienced that this week because all of my friends, everybody I grew up with - my family, my gang, everybody - posted so that I could go to number one. Without even me asking, I never asked them."
She then cheekily sings a bit of Swift's 'Look What You Made Me Do', squeezing her own breasts with both hands for some of it, an act TMZ describes as "hilariously [throwing] shade at Taylor".
Cardi B is up for multiple 2017 BET Hip Hop awards, including Best Mixtape for Gangsta Bitch Music Vol 2.
'Bodak Yellow' has steadily climbed the charts since its June release and has racked up over 170 million views on YouTube.
