Nazanin 'Naz' Khanjani is teasing fans with some "exciting news" about a "massive opportunity" on US television, but can't say much about what it is just yet.
The star of The Bachelor NZ's 2016 season is working on a secret new project she says we'll be hearing a lot more about - and seeing more of - very soon.
Naz sent Newshub a video from her hotel room in California and could barely contain her enthusiasm.
"I've got some exciting news - I'm in America, in Los Angeles!" says Naz.
"I've been busy [with a] massive opportunity. It's something I definitely couldn't say no to - I'm very blessed and appreciative of this whole thing.
"I've had a very, very rough past year, but everything happens for a reason. It's all led me to where I am now. So I'm very thankful and thank you to everyone for showing me support."
After going public with her romance with bricklayer Daniel Mazzola in April, Naz and he split not long after.
She has since been in a new relationship with a man she says she's known for years - but the couple are enjoying keeping things quiet.
"With the last few relationships I had, I put it out there too soon then found their intentions weren't all there. With my new man, I'm very protective of him... we're very happy, but we don't need to plaster it all over social media all the time."
Naz took a few months off bodybuilding after achieving a third place in the Arnold Classic competition in Sydney, but says she is getting back into it now with her new partner.
She's been keeping herself busy telefundraising for charities - but is looking forward to getting back on TV.
"I would love to share with the nation what it is [I'm doing in the US] but unfortunately I'm not allowed to say a single word - but as soon as I am I will let you guys know."
