Art Green and Matilda Rice met on the first season of The Bachelor NZ. Three years later, they're getting married.
Matilda announced the engagement via Instagram on Sunday, writing of something "quite exciting" happening during their trip to Rarotonga.
"I got to pat a giant Trevally named Gina! Oh and also, we got ENGAGED! Actually pinching myself that I get to wake up to that face every day for the rest of my life. I love you Art Green."
The pair first visited Rarotonga on a romantic getaway towards the end of The Bachelor's first season in 2015.
Woman's Day reports Art got down on one knee on a white sand beach last week.
The ring, crafted by one of his cousins, is platinum-silver with a cushion-cut diamond and small pink sapphires.
The couple are now looking ahead to their wedding, which Art says will be "reasonably chilled and nothing too extravagant".
Out of 19 seasons of The Bachelor in the United States, only two couples are now married. One couple from The Bachelor Australia out of five is engaged.
