Former Shortland Street star KJ Apa has gone up against pop star Miley Cyrus on US talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
When the Riverdale cast took a trip to the set, Apa got the chance to go up against the 'Malibu' singer, her family and Fallon himself in a game of 'Search Party'.
Each member of the clan had to guess one of the four most popular answers to questions people type into Google's search engine.
The game turned tense, with Riverdale star Cole Sprouse accusing the other side of cheating, but the Riverdale cast eventually took out the win.
Fallon also took the opportunity to mimic Apa's Kiwi accent and question how he got the role of redheaded Archie Andrews in the popular Netflix drama, considering he was from New Zealand and was naturally brunette.
"None of it really fits," Apa admitted.
He said he "absolutely" felt there was no way he'd get the role when he auditioned.
"And I was even more terrified about what I would look like with red hair," he said.
"Like, if you're not ginger, you're either going to suit it or you're not going to suit it at all... but I think it kind of works."
Cyrus is in the midst of a week-long residency on the show in ahead of the launch of her new album Younger Now, while the second season of Riverdale premieres this month.
