The Oklahoma City Thunder were flying to Chicago after losing to the Timberwolves in Minneapolis, Minnesota when something reportedly hit the plane in the nose.
Adams took to Twitter with a message directed at NASA, acclaimed astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye the Science Guy.
"We had a rough flight to say the least... flying to Chicago. What caused this?"
He wasn't the only Thunder star tweeting about the accident, with Carmelo Anthony, Josh Huestis and Alex Abrines all also taking to social media to showcase the damaged plane and ask what happened.
