Right from the get-go, a Facebook Live video featuring Kiwi director Taika Waititi and actor Jeff Goldblum didn't go to plan.
After more than a year of filming, the red carpet was rolled out on Wednesday (NZ time) for the big reveal of Thor: Ragnarok.

In a somewhat impressive feat, Waititi and Goldblum managed to avoid most of a Marvel interviewer's questions about the film in a 20-minute video.
The pair didn't let the interviewer get a word in edgeways as they rambled on bizarre tangents about made-up words, sang songs and discussed comparisons between Waititi and cannoli.
As the bewildered host tried to read Facebook users' questions from an iPad, the two Hollywood stars instead focused on the names of the submitters, spooned each other and had a thumb war.
The pair then turned the tables on the interviewer, questioning him instead.
"How would you say this is going?" Waititi asked.
"I would say this is the finest Facebook Live I have ever done," was the reply.
"It's also technically the worst, but the best."
While not much was learned in terms of the new addition to the Marvel series, it certainly made for an entertaining watch.
