National Party MP Steven Joyce may have prematurely broken the news of what radio presenter Jay-Jay Harvey's next job is.
The Edge host is leaving the station after 23 years and while MediaWorks has confirmed she is moving to another of its platforms, it won't reveal which until 2018.

Joyce, famous for coining the phrase "pretty legal" and having a dildo thrown at his face, says she's going to The Breeze - although he may have been joking.
"After all these years, after 23 years on The Edge, [Harvey is] going to work on The Breeze apparently... because those are the only songs she knows now," he reportedly said.
Before his political career, Joyce worked in broadcasting and gave Harvey a job when she was a teenager at Taranaki's Energy FM.
On the weekend, the pair reunited at the station's 30th anniversary celebration, where Fairfax reports Joyce made the comment.
Harvey will be replaced by Megan Annear on The Edge Breakfast, who will host alongside Dom Harvey and Clinton Randell.
"This has been a massive life-changing decision, but I have been at The Edge for more than half my life and I feel very ready now to end this chapter and start a new one," Harvey said when she announced she was leaving The Edge.
MediaWorks, which also owns Newshub, will announce Harvey's new position in the new year.
