One statistic has stood out in a series of year-end statistics recently released by Netflix Australia.
News.com.au reports an unnamed viewer has clocked up 352 viewings of the DreamWorks film Madagascar 3: Europes Most Wanted.
The film is the third instalment in the Madagascar series and follows four escaped animals trying to make their way home to New York Zoo.
No other information was released alongside the number of times it was viewed, which means one can only guess why the film has been watched so much.
The prevailing theory is a stressed-out parent is letting his or her kid watch the film repeatedly due to its family-friendly nature.
Slightly more unlikely is the idea an adult simply really likes to watch the fish-out-of-water adventures of a pack of animals trying to go home.
Whatever the reason is, that's a lot of one movie. The film has a runtime of 93 minutes, which means one mysterious Australian has spent the equivalent of 22.7 days of 2017 watching Madagascar 3.
