Call Me By Your Name has been declared the best film of 2017 by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association.
The romantic coming-of-age drama is directed by Luca Guadagnino and stars Armie Hammer and Timothée Chalamet.

It played at the New Zealand Film Festival (NZIFF) earlier this year and is heading back to cinemas here later this month.
Adapted from the 2007 novel of the same name, Call Me By Your Name was described by The Guardian as "a cinematic ravishment of the senses with a strong narrative tethering all the feelings and sensuous surfaces".
The LA Critics Association named The Florida Project as the runner-up best film of the year, while The Shape of Water and Get Out received other awards.
