An Iranian woman who supposedly underwent 50 surgeries in an effort to look like Angelina Jolie is being accused of lying.
Sahar Tabar, 22, is said to be obsessed with looking like the Tomb Raider star and allegedly underwent heavy surgery to achieve her striking appearance, documented on Instagram.
She initially rose to viral fame earlier this week, with some saying she looked closer to the Tim Burton movie character Corpse Bride than Lara Croft.
But following analysis of her photos, some viewers are saying computer trickery might be behind her most shocking looks.
In a discussion on Reddit, one user highlighted odd distortions around the super-fan's head in one photo, which may be evidence of photoshopping.
Differences in the shape of her face between photos are also pointed to as evidence of her appearance being exaggerated.
In some pictures her face is fuller, her nose is less upturned and her lips are less exaggerated.
But other photos show her with a more gaunt appearance and extremely exaggerated facial features.
According to British tabloid The Sun, one user commented: "I do believe she got plastic surgery, but it's more or less makeup and extremely exaggerating her features that she got done."
