Another newlywed couple's relationship has come to a brutal end in the latest episode of Married At First Sight Australia.

In S05E11, Alycia was seen waiting for her husband Matthew on a set of steps in central Sydney, seemingly expecting bad news.
She certainly got it.
"I don't see the point in letting this go on," Matthew said after taking a seat next to his wife on the cold concrete steps.
"I think it's in everyone's best interests that ah, yeah, that we leave the experiment. My heart's just not in this at all."
Yes, by 'leave the experiment', he meant end their marriage.
"I'm absolutely devastated," Alycia said.
"I'm just really hurt... I'm heartbroken. There's nothing more I could do. I've given everything. I literally have given everything that I have."
