The conversation drifted towards her personal life, including the end of her relationship with director Darren Aronofksy. The two dated for a year after working together on the divisive mother! but it emerged in November that they had split.
It's well-known that Lawrence is close with Amy Schumer, and the comedienne showed her support to her heartbroken friend with her trademark black humour.
"When Darren and I first broke up, I told her and I was really sad. The next day I got a bouquet of flowers delivered and I said, 'What is this?'" she recounted.
"I bring the bouquet of flowers in, and there was a note that says, 'I'm so sorry to hear you're gonna die alone. Love, Amy'.""
Schumer herself recently got married in a "very sudden" wedding to Chris Fischer, her partner of just a few months.
She had to clarify via Instagram that she wasn't pregnant, but simply too in love to wait any longer.
