Demi Lovato has posted a series of self-love Instagram stories, highlighting her cellulite and stretch marks to her near-70 million followers.
In the first post, the singer pinches skin on her stomach with the caption: "Stretch marks and extra fat - and yet I still love myself."
The second shot shows her standing in a mirror with shorts on, saying: "Cellulite and I still love myself."
A third and final post showed her front-on in the mirror.
"No thigh gap for me and yet I still love myself," she wrote.
Fans were quick to point out they couldn't actually see any cellulite in her second photo, which she explained.
"The Boomerang [a looped video feature on Instagram] smoothed out my legs," she said in another Instagram story.
"The point is, I have cellulite just like the other 93 percent of women do. What you see on Instagram isn't always what it seems to be. Let's embrace our real selves. #iloveme."
For years Lovato has been open about her struggles with an eating disorder, telling American Way Magazine in 2016 she began binging and purging at age nine.
Last year she posted a before-and-after photo to Instagram.
"Recovery is possible," she captioned the photo, showing her dramatically small frame on the left and herself looking much healthier on the right.
