An accident on the Southwestern Motorway has caused major delays for Auckland commuters.
Emergency services were called to the 10-car pile-up in the southbound lane near Mangere Bridge, between Rimu Rd and Walmsley Rd just before 7am.
The lanes are now cleared, but the New Zealand Transport Agency is still warning of delays.
Police earlier warned passengers heading to the airport they're likely to be affected and recommended using alternative routes.
Video posted online by the NZTA showed the extent of the delays.
It's not known if anyone was injured in the crash.
