A Hamilton teen has won $50,000 after catching a 203.7kg blue marlin in the Bay of Islands.
Dylan White was the youngest to enter the Caribbean Zane Grey International Game Fishing Tournament.
He was using a 37kg rod and reel when the fish struck.
Despite the rough conditions, he battled the fish singlehandedly - as he would be disqualified if anyone else touched the rod.
The money he won will be put aside until he's is older.
