No trains will run in Auckland between 11am-1pm on Tuesday.
Auckland Transport tweeted the update on Monday afternoon, citing a Rail and Maritime Transport Union meeting as the reason for the disruption.
It said Transdev, AT's train operator, had been advised by the RMTU that the union intended to hold a meeting for members at midday on Tuesday December 17.
AT said buses would be available as an alternative transport option during the affected time, and will be running every half an hour.
While services may be delayed before and after the meeting, AT said peak-time train services would not be affected.
Auckland rail workers went on strike for 24 hours on December 6, protesting Transdev's proposal to introduce driver-only trains.
