The recipient of a Secret Santa gift from Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has shared her excitement on Twitter.
Although the Prime Minister didn't explicitly reveal her identity, a personal keepsake and a handwritten note were enough to give it away.
Rebecca Terry received a night time story book for her two young children, body lotion and a bath bomb from Lush and Ms Ardern's APEC conference pin.
"Dear Rebecca" a card read, which Ms Terry shared on Twitter.
"Merry Christmas! I really hope your girls like this book, and that you get some time to yourself and some R&R (which the other gift for you is all about!)"
"I also travel quite a bit for the job I do, so I've included a wee momento from my last trip.
"Not too many people have these, but I wanted to share mine.
"Have a wonderful Christmas xx Your Secret Santa."
Ms Ardern attended the APEC conference in Vietnam in November, alongside other world leaders, including Theresa May, Justin Trudeau, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
Ms Ardern also included a note in the children's book.
"This book belongs to two amazing girls who can do anything they set their minds to," the inside cover said.
Ms Terry was over the moon with her gift.
"Thank you so so much @jacindaardern I am so happy, and will treasure the pin too," she tweeted.
Ms Ardern put her name down for the countrywide movement, organised by NZ Post, where complete strangers buy each other presents.
"I couldn't miss the chance," she said, calling herself a "ridiculous lover of Christmas".
The Prime Minister revealed a Secret Santa gift she received on Tuesday - a "beautiful" Christmas ornament.
"It's my first Christmas decoration," she said. "I've actually put up a tree and there's no decorations on it.
"Thank you to whoever sent this to me, I really appreciate it, it's very, very kind."
Ms Ardern will be getting two gifts this year. Her original Secret Santa's gift is still on its way, but the ornament was a bonus from a 'super Secret Santa".
Her second gift has not yet been revealed.
