Parts of Auckland's Tamaki Drive have gone under water due to the king tide and bad weather on Thursday morning.
Auckland Transport is warning motorists to avoid the area.
"Tamaki Drive is NOW CLOSED between Ngapipi Rd the CBD (Hobson Bay area). Diversions are being set. Please use an alternative route," it says on Twitter.
Video shows both lanes being swept with water as the sea gushes over the seawall.
