The moment an Auckland bus veers off the road and smashes into a parked car and trees has been caught on camera.
The crash took place on Bush Rd in Albany just outside the ITM hardware store, which captured the incident on its CCTV cameras.
Footage shows the Ritchies bus ploughing through foliage before driving into the back of the car, which is parked on the roadside.

Police say the incident, which they attended alongside the fire service, occurred just after 8:20am on Wednesday.
It's not clear why the bus lost control, as footage only captures the incident in the moments after it had careened off the road.
No injuries have been reported.
