One person has died in a crash at Tirohanga in Bay of Plenty this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene between Pokuru Road and Tirohanga Road just before 11am.
Drivers are being advised to avoid the area and follow diversions being put in place.
It is the first death in the Easter holiday road toll period.
