Three people have been arrested in connection to the supply of methamphetamine in Opotiki, following a raid on four Mongrel Mob houses.
Four properties associated with the 'Barbarians' gang were searched on Thursday morning, as part of a meth-targeted operation, police say.
"It is a destructive drug that impacts families in our community and destroys lives," Detective Senior Sergeant Standen says.
Det Sen Standen says police will continue to target the supply of the drug into the community.
Two local women, aged 40 and 27, and a 40-year-old man will appear in the Whakatane District Court on Friday facing a number of meth related charges.
All three are Opotiki locals.
