North Shore residents may have trouble getting home tonight after a car was engulfed in flames on Auckland's Harbour Bridge.
The bridge's northbound 'clip on' lanes were initially blocked, with traffic being diverted to the middle lane.
All lanes have since been re-opened, with a temporary 50km/h speed limit in place on the two northbound lanes.
Police says Aucklanders should expect delays as congestion clears.
The fire has since been extinguished, according to a Fire and Emergency spokesman.
