One person is dead after a horror crash in Morrinsville on Thursday morning.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Piako Rd just after 8am after a head-on collision between a truck and a van.
St John says two other people are suffering serious injuries, while another has minor injuries.
"The road is closed and diversions will be in place," a police spokesperson says.
"More information will be released when it is available."
