A limousine found on fire near a Blenheim riverbank has been deemed not suspicious.
Emergency services were called to the banks of the Wairau River near the Diversion Bridge in Spring Creek at 12:10pm on Wednesday.
They arrived to find the limousine completely ablaze. Pictures taken by Newshub reporter Thomas Mead show the extent of the completely burnt-out vehicle.
A police spokesperson told Newshub Fire and Emergency New Zealand called police as they believed the fire could be suspicious - something that is often the case with limousine fires.
After speaking to the vehicle owner, police said they believed the fire was not suspicious.
The cause is still unknown.
