The bodies of both men who disappeared in separate South Auckland waterfalls on Sunday have now been recovered.
A man in his 20s was reported missing at Hunua Falls yesterday at about 2:40pm.
The popular waterfall was closed to the public while police searched for the man, to no avail - but on Monday afternoon, the man's body was found by the Police Dive Squad.
His family is being notified and the death has been referred to the Coroner.
Earlier on Monday, police recovered the body of Eddie Proosten, who went missing from Maketu Falls near Ramarama on Sunday afternoon.
The man, who was in his 50s, had been enjoying the water at the popular swimming hole when he failed to surface, and was reported missing at 4:50pm.
The two waterfalls are about 30 minutes' drive apart.
