A van has caught alight on Auckland's Southern Motorway.
The vehicle was parked on the side of the motorway about 13km from the Papakura on-ramp just after lunchtime on Sunday.
Video showed the van well-alight.
The New Zealand Transport Agency warns the fire is blocking the left southbound lane.
"There is reduced visibility through the area due to smoke," it says on Facebook.
"Please avoid the area if possible or take extra care while passing and expect DELAYS in both directions."
