Aucklanders are being warned to expect traffic delays on the Northwestern Motorway after a car caught on fire.
Earlier on Saturday afternoon Waka Kotahi posted to Twitter that due to a fire, the two westbound lanes were blocked under St Lukes Rd.
"Emergency services are on site. Please expect delays in the area or detour via St Luke Rd," it said.
An image showed vehicles at a halt, with the post adding traffic was backed up to Upper Queen St.
In an update at 5pm, Waka Kotahi said westbound congestion has now eased.
"Please note one left westbound lane remains blocked between St Lukes off-ramp and on-ramp from the prior fire incident," it added.
