A car fire broke out on Auckland's southern motorway with police and fire crews attending to extinguish the blaze.
On Saturday just before 2:30pm, police said they were alerted of a car on fire on the southern motorway at Totara Heights in Auckland.
A police spokesperson added: "All occupants were out of the car and unharmed."
The spokesperson said the car is not affecting impeding traffic as it is parked on the shoulder of the motorway.
A spokesperson for Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) told Newshub: "At 2:17pm on Saturday, Fire and Emergency was called to a car fire on Auckland's southern motorway. Three trucks attended with the last one leaving at 2:45pm."
Police confirmed the fire has been extinguished.
