A missing diver has been found dead in the Far North early this morning.
The diver was reported missing at Waihihi Bay, in the Bay of Islands, at around 6:40pm Thursday.
Police have confirmed a body was found in the water just before 2am Friday.
"Our thoughts are with their family at this sad time," police said.
The death will be referred to the Coroner.
