Auckland motorists are facing delays on Wednesday morning after a truck fire blocked part of State Highway 1 south of the city.
New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) confirmed one southbound lane between Oram Rd and Island Block Rd on the Waikato Expressway has reopened after all southbound lanes were previously closed.
"Delay your journey or allow extra time for long delays southbound through this area," NZTA said.
Police confirmed no injuries have been reported and officers are assisting with traffic management.
Waka Kotahi said there is heavy traffic with delays of up to 35 minutes.
