A car has smashed through the wall of a petrol station in west Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency services attended the crash at the Waitomo petrol station in Henderson just before 2pm.
"At around 1.52pm, we were notified of a single-vehicle crash on Lincoln Road, where a vehicle had collided with a building," a police spokesperson told Newshub.
"It is suspected the driver may have experienced a medical event," they added.
The driver was taken to hospital in a serious condition, but nobody else was hurt.
