Labour and the Greens, rivals in the Mt Albert by-election, have teamed up to deliver a 'State of the Nation' address.
2017 is an election year - not just in Mt Albert, but the country - and the two parties are showing off their idea of an alternative government.
The event's taking place at the Mt Albert War Memorial Hall.
Mt Albert goes to the polls in February, Labour's Jacinda Ardern and the Greens' Julie Anne Genter vying for the job. Both are currently list MPs.
